When you have your hair done and you get complimented we’re a bit different how we react.
If it’s a great cut and colour you will recommend the stylist or salon who did it and if it’s a bad one… well let’s face it we’ve all been there.
But unlike clothes we don’t say “oh this? Primark! £4! Bargain”
Why aren’t we talking about what’s actually going into our hair? It’s not a secret what bleach does to us and if it’s used incorrectly the results can be devastating.
So let’s talk about it, bleach. What is it? It’s a bleaching agent and inside it contains little little guys who call themselves “oxidising agents” and their sole purpose is to strip the colour from your hair.
Unlike colour that adds tiny particles to the inside of the cuticle these guys go in to it and basically doing a home removal of all pigmentation within your hair shaft.
Obviously throwing a cup of powder onto your head isn’t going to give you the results you need so we mix it with peroxide, which turns bleach powder into a reacting agent.
It’s sounds scary when you think of it that way, which is why we use Wella Blondor. Yes it’s a bleach and it’s strips your hair of pigmentation but it’s also an award winning product that not only contains bleach but also a blonde colour that works along side in unison.
What does this mean to us? Well essentially when we put Wella Blondor onto your hair it has something called “auto- control system” built in within the chemical reaction, do for the first 15 minutes is where we will see the most amount of lift happen to the hair, then after the 15 minutes it slows down, allowing us to have the perfect amount of control over your hair lightening process.
This creates a Multi-tonal blonde bespoke pieces which gives your hair dimension, light reflexion and a more natural blonde tones.
