Today is summer solstice 2020
the longest day of the year and marks the first day of our summer and famously celebrated at Stonehenge in Wiltshire.
Normally a festival is held over two days at the famous heritage site but not this year because of coronavirus and social distancing rules this can not go ahead.
This means the evenings are going to be lighter with up to sixteen hours of daylight which is perfect as it’s predicted that next week we have a heatwave on the way too.
Hopefully, there’s now light at the end of our tunnels and me, Dean and our team will be allowed to open our salon doors from 4 th July still waiting on confirmation from Boris Johnson.
