Please be aware going forward, you will now receive a text asking you to enter your card details once you have booked an appointment with us. This process is to secure an appointment, no money or deposit will be taken from your account. The only time money will leave your account is if you do not show up for your appointment without giving the 24 hours notice required.
We understand clients need to occasionally change or cancel their appointments. Should you need to do so, we ask for at least 24 hours notice. If cancelled within less than 24 hours or you do not show up, 40% of the treatment cost will be charged.
This has not been an easy decision to make, however we have been closed for a long time due to the ongoing pandemic. As a small independent business, when an appointment is forgotten or cancelled without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, the clients on our waiting list miss the chance to receive our services. It’s not only our clients that are effected but in fact us as a business, if an appointment is left unfilled we are left at a loss and sadly this has been happening far too often for us to now have to put something in place.
We will confirm your appointment with you 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it can be to forget an appointment you booked months ago.
To be clear, we do not have access to anyone’s card details. They are with a secure deposit company (Stripe), once we add your appointment on the system as a no show/less than 24 hours notice, Stripe will be indicated for 40% of your treatment cost to be taken.
Without entering your card details when prompted, your appointment will not be saved on our system, so please make sure this is done!
